I've found a great website with some scholarly articles on a range of issues pertaining to science fiction. This one is really worth a look. I came across it while I was doing some research, following up on an academic who studied at the same university as William Gibson, a few years after he completed his degree. Her name is Nicola Nixon and she writes (amongst other things) about science fiction and teaches at a Canadian university. Have a look around the website and see what you can find. http://www.depauw.edu/sfs/index.htm
